- These lights are bright and very easy to install. They do not require a power supply, so you can simply bypass the old ballast from the fixture and don't have to install anything additional. Once installed, the lights are very bright and a pleasure to use. Included with the lights are hangers to install at the midpoint of the fixture to help support the bulb and prevent it from sagging. These bulbs provide better light than the fluorescents they replaced; I'm really happy with them.
