In which applications LED Canopy Lights are the appropriate type of fixture?

LED canopy lights are used to replace from 75W to 400W and can be used indoors or outdoors, as the LED canopy fixtures are good to be used in damp locations. Often times finding the right product for your place can be confusing. There are a variety of wattages, lumens, shapes, lenses and even the way the canopy light is going to be mounted.

How many Watts should you choose for the Canopy Light

Actually, your question should be how many lumens do I need from the LED canopy light, as you may find that cheap canopy lights may be less efficient than higher priced canopy fixtures for the same power. This decision should be made based on the application, the type of task that is being illuminated, the height of the installation and the space between each fixture. If it's just for security a lower lumens canopy light can be used, but if it is for a retail area or a place where detailed work is being done you should go for more light.
