Not sure about the rating on the 40 Watt Canopy light that I ordered since they were out of stock and subbed a 60 watt in it's place. The 60 watt is really bright. My installation was at 8' high. The 60 watt light should really be mounted a lot higher. It has plenty of lumens. My only issue is when the fixture arrived it was rattling. Upon opening the fixture, I found the plastic driver box cracked and it had came unmounted inside the fixture. I removed it and glued it and screwed it back in place. It works fine. It is a good fixture. I have had it up for a couple of days now. There were no instructions with it for determining how to set some of the dip switches.
The services areas entrance now are safer in the cold winter time and the Security guys feel safer too; all the areas at the big Complex showed very good lights so we can check easily in our cameras what 's going on in the whole condominiums
We manage parking lots and valet services in a many Condos; we began with one and changed all the others because this canopys solve the entrance to the buildings and all parking lots.
This Canopy lights that are white showed a modern appearance and went well in the contemporary parking garage. The bright daylight-like illumination extends over a wide arch, making it great for the covered parking garage, and the roof of the outdoor with gazebos and barbecue for the entertaining areas. Unlike the fluorescent tubes I had there before, this won't have any operational difficulties in the wintertime cold.
We are in the Hospitality Business Management so we replaced all the entrances and garage areas with these 40watt canopies with motion sensor, very bright light like daylight, easy to install, saving big in power bill and $0 in maintenance. One thing we have noticed is that due to the motion sensors we now know where people are moving.
